Maya - Colour Mapping and Texture

 Here I was learning to use colour map and adding texture. I was trying to create a smaller solar system with the Sun, Earth, Moon and Mars.

Teacher showed us simple way of animating the solar system to give us ideas of things you can achieve on Maya.

EARTH

                              MARS

                           MOON

                             SUN

These are the texture map I used on the solar system. I used Plannar Mapping in the end to get the image to fit on the solar planets.
